​Jeanne Erikson, Ph.D, LSCSW, Mediator

Jeanne's philosophy is to assist to achieve your highest possible level of functioning.  She received her PhD in social work from Kansas University in 1991 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1993 specializing in treatment of adult affective disorders like depression and anxiety, as well as child therapy.  She also enjoys family and marriage counseling as well as divorce mediation and arbitration, and has extensive experience in both areas.  She assists Courts in six counties to resolve divorce disputes, as well as contract and employee-employer disputes. 


Kim Kadel, M.S., LCMFT, Mediator

Kim Kadel is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience doing family therapy, marital therapy, and individual counseling with children, adolescents, and adults.  She has also been an Approved Custody Mediator for the State of Kansas for over 20 years.  She has served as a Custody Mediator, Limited Case Manager or Case Manager for hundreds of cases in many Kansas counties.  Kim has a Masters of Science Degree from Kansas State University with an emphasis in child and adolescent development and marriage and family therapy.  Kim has been a presenter at numerous professional workshops speaking on Children & Divorce, Parent Education, and Stress Management.  Kim has been married for 35 years, has two children, and two grandchildren.  ​


Carol Cummings, MSW, LSCSW, MFT, LCAC

Carol Cummings is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). She also has been trained in Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in treating persons who have co-occuring mental health and addiction issues, persons who have experienced trauma, and intensive marital therapy.  She enjoys doing the Recovery of Hope Program with her colleague Doug Morphis, which is 20 hours of therapy in one week with couples.  Carol also does drug and alcohol evaluations, clinical assessments, and parent-child evaluations.  She is married to Bill.  She has 4 adult sons and 9 grandchildren.


Jodi K. Cline, LCMFT

Jodi Cline has been a marriage and family therapist at the Counseling and Mediation Center since February 1995.  She earned her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in December 1994.  In addition to her counseling practice, she is also Registered Pharmacist.  Jodi counsels individuals, couples, and families.  Her interests are:  Promoting healthy parenting, helping people manage emotional distress due to chronic illness, and helping people manage mood disorders.  She is married to Scott and has two adult children.

Doug Morphis, MFT

Doug Morphis is the Co-founder Counseling and Mediation Center.  He is a Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, an ordained United Methodist Minister, has been trained in Marriage and Family Therapy.  He has a doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from St. Paul School of Theology. He specializes in marriage counseling, and facilitates the Recovery of Hope intensive marital weekend.  He also provides individual and couples therapy on a part time basis, and is especially helpful to those persons who are grieving and or getting a divorce. Doug has authored two books on divorce and grief.  He is an approved mediator for the State of Kansas, specializing in organizational and congregational mediation.  He is married to Gayle and has six adult children and six grandchildren.


Rev. Dr. Phyllis Provost-Saas

Phyllis is a retired United Methodist elder who served in the Kansas West and Great Plains Conference for 25 years.  She received a BA in Elementary Education, an M.Div. from Phillips Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. in pastoral counseling from Phillips as well. Phyllis’ specialty is in counseling clergy and clergy couples and families, and in helping people deal with anxiety and stress. She also leads a monthly clergywomen’s consultation group.  Phyllis is married to Paul Saas and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren who are the light of her life.
